LightTouch Medical Spa is a physician owned and operated medical office in which we provide advanced skin care treatments in a relaxed and pleasant environment. Dr. Emily Thomas is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician who opened LightTouch Medical Spa in 2004, and continues to expand the Cosmetic Dermatology services offered. The LightTouch team is made up of highly trained clinicians who utilize the latest FDA-approved technologies and treatments.

| Emily Thomas, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Thomas is the Medical Director and CEO of LightTouch Medical Spa. Dr. Thomas received her B.A in Anthropology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio followed by her M.D. at Ohio State University Medical School in Columbus, Ohio. She completed her Internship and Internal Medicine Residency at Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus Ohio.
She founded LightTouch Medical Spa, Inc. in August 2004. She has completed certification in Laser Hair Removal, Intense Pulsed Light/PhotoRejuvenation, Microdermabrasion, Prescribing of Procyte and OBAGI® products, Botox® Administration, Dermal Filler Administration, Sclerotherapy, and Advanced Techniques in Combination Aesthetic Therapies. She is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She continues to keep abreast of the latest literature and developments in her field.
Dr. Thomas’s focus in patient relationships is partnership oriented. She approaches patients with respect and honor, and listens to their needs and priorities. She feels an educated patient is a healthier one, so she offers complimentary consultations that allow time to help the patient become knowledgeable regarding their treatment options.
Dr. Thomas seeks to provide only clinically proven technology that will enhance her patients’ sense of well-being. Her approach to procedures is gentle and artistically focused. She takes a holistic approach to skin and body treatments.

Janet Hein, R.N, B.S.N.
Janet received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lake Michigan College in 1980 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing form University of Phoenix in 1984.
Janet has been with LightTouch since June 2005 as a Laser Specialist. She has continued to grow and enhance her skills with our practice. She is certified in the Consultation and Administration of Botox® Treatments and in OBAGI® Consultations, and she is trained in Skin Care Consultations and the Administration of Procycte Chemical Peels. Janet provides conscientious, knowledgeable and thoughtful care to our patients. She is a Benicia resident, jewelry-maker, and the mother of two wonderful boys, and is studying at JFK University.
